Review by hotel critic
Family-Friendly Stay at Best Western Scores HotelDuring our recent trip to St Andrews, we chose the Best Western Scores Hotel for its fantastic location, just a two-minute walk from both the Royal & Ancient Golf Club and the British Golf Museum. As a family of five, we appreciated the spacious family room, which was two large rooms interconnected, providing ample space for our three sons. While our stay had its hiccups-like the absence of room cleaning unless explicitly requested and an unsettling incident with late-night disturbances-the hotel's charming atmosphere and friendly staff created a welcoming environment. Our sons particularly enjoyed the proximity to outdoor activities. The golf fields nearby offered delightful views, and we found convenient parking there. Despite a few logistical challenges, we relished family bonding time over meals in the hotel's dining area. In summary, while there are areas for improvement, the best elements of our family stay made it a memorable experience, ideal for other families seeking a blend of leisure and exploration.
